| Large Number of Small Grants Still Available |

It has come to VODA's attention that a number of funders in the region still have grants to allocate this financial year (up to the end of March 2010) We are keen for groups and organisations to access these funds before they are exhausted, therefore VODA's Funding Advisor has issued the following two pieces of advice for groups: 1. Obtain a copy of Funding Information North East (FINE's) North East Guide to Grants for Voluntary Organisations and apply in writing to as many funders as appropriate 2. Contact VODA directly to make an appointment with the Funding Advisor who can assist in identifying the most suitable funders. This Charitable Trust has been improving lives in the North East for over 40 years. Its objectives are wide ranging and include:
Grants made have varied between regular annual donations, small one-off donations and grants for capital projects. The Trust has made grants of between £100 and £10,000 but the average size of grant awarded is £1000. You can apply by writing, following the guidelines set out on the website to: |
