As part of our support to groups and organisations, VODA's Development Team provides advice and support on organisational health checks and quality assurance.

As groups grow and develop, it is important for them to ensure that the way that their group operates is effective and meets the needs of their users.  Both organisational health checks and quality assurance enable organisations to undertake a review of their current practices and identify areas for development.

Health Checks
We have produced two health check documents which groups can download and carry out within their own organisations.

Quality Assurance
There are many different types of quality assurance systems, so it is vital to choose the one which meets the needs of your organisation.  VODA's Development Worker supports groups to examine the different systems that are available and identify the best one for your group. 

Implementing a Quality Assurance system can help your organisation to: 

• Provide a better standard of service to your users
• Improve the way that your organisation runs
• Develop consistency across the organisation
• Improve satisfaction for users, staff, trustees and volunteers
