National Citizen Service (NCS) is a once-in-a-lifetime experience helping to fast track the future of 15 to 17 year-olds across the country. NCS gives young people the chance to experience adventure, develop their skills and make a difference to their community.
VODA has been a delivery partner of the NCS programme since its launch in 2011 and has a hugely successful track record of engaging young people in exciting and meaningful projects.

Is it for me?
In one word – YES! NCS is a chance for 15 to 17-year-olds to come together and achieve amazing things.
Let’s face it – life’s too short to be stuck indoors. So why not kick-start your future with a summer you’ll never forget! Thanks to government backing, the most you’ll ever pay for this unbeatable experience (which costs £1,400) is £50, but this cost could be £10 or even free depending on your circumstances.
When, where and how?
NCS takes place in the North East outside of term time, so no matter what your commitments are or what your summer holiday plans might be, just register and we’ll get you on the next available NCS spot to suit you and your families plans.
For more information and to sign up, please visit the NCS North East website.
