Trustee Vacancy at North Shields Heritology Project

The North Shields Heritology Project is a newly Registered Charity dedicated to bringing the rich heritage of North Shields and its Fish Quay to life through new and emerging technologies, for both local people and visitors to the area. In particular the Project is looking to Immersive Sound Experiences, Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality to tell stories in a unique and cutting edge way.

The Charity is looking for a young person (18 to 24 years of age) to join its Volunteer Trustee Team and help bring these ideas to reality. The person they are looking for will be involved in all aspects of the project, but most importantly will advise and help steer the content of the project to ensure it is engaging with young people in an inspiring way through technology. No technical knowledge is required.

This is an unpaid volunteer role, but one which promises unparalleled involvement in an exciting and distinctive project that will look great on any CV and will provide hands on experience of developing a project from the idea and concept stage through to completion and delivery.
