North Tyneside Council has received a small Covid Local Support Grant to help vulnerable residents with food and utility support. They would like to work with any organisation within North Tyneside that has a project that delivers food or utility support that could be quickly delivered to residents by the 20 June 2021.
Organisations need to provide an outline of the support they would like to/or are currently delivering that needs funding, why it is needed and also provide monitoring data on how many households this support will reach (broken down between households with children and households without children).
Grants will be up to £5,000 and will be provided on a first come basis
How will it work?
Please complete the attached form setting out how you would use the funding. Beneficiaries must live in North Tyneside and organisations must be constituted and work in North Tyneside.
The funding is available to spend immediately, applications will be looked at every two weeks on a rolling programme. Applications will be closed when all of the funding has been spent.

Who decides which grants are made?
The Cabinet Member for Finance and Head of Resources will review all applications and the Officer Team aim to inform successful applicants within a maximum of 4 weeks from receiving the application. Funding must be spent by 20th June 2021.
