Heritage Compass is a business support programme, funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, which aims to grow resilience and invigorate the heritage sector across England. It will run for two years and work with 150 small or medium sized heritage organisations from across the country.
As part of the programme, some organisations will be offered a grant of up to £5,000. This is to help widen access to the programme and allow smaller organisations to participate. The grant is primarily aimed at organisations with a turnover of less than £250k and with fewer than five staff.
The programme is designed to allow a wide range of organisations to build their resilience through working together, as well as developing their individual strategies. Organisations will gain tailored training, mentoring and peer learning to help them develop strategy and move forward as part of a dynamic new cohort.
Up to two places per organisation will be offered. Particularly welcome are applications from micro-organisations and start-ups.
Deadline: 16 December
