Heritage Revival Fund

The Heritage Revival Fund from the Architectural Heritage Fund (AHF) has been created to help communities across England rescue and repurpose neglected historic buildings. This programme will focus on regenerating historic buildings in town centre locations.

It aims to empower community-led organisations, such as charities, not-for-profits, and social enterprises, to take ownership of heritage assets and transform them into functional community spaces.

The fund offers three grant types:

  1. Project Viability Grants (up to £15,000) and Project Development Grants (up to £100,000), both with application deadlines of 14 July 2025
  2. Capital Grants (up to £350,000), for which expressions of interest are due by 27 June 2025, and full applications by 29 September 2025.

The programme prioritises projects in town centres and seeks to preserve historic buildings at risk of decay.
