James Tudor Foundation

Applications to the James Tudor Foundation’s Mental Health Support Grant programme will open in early January 2026. The fund supports UK-registered charities delivering trauma-informed mental health projects that help children and young people recover from Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), alongside specialist support for parents affected by ACEs, mental illness or addiction.

Grants of up to £25,000 are available to healthcare charities with an annual income below £20 million and at least five years of audited or independently examined accounts. Charities may be regionally or nationally based.

Funded projects must be evidence-based and focused on preventing and addressing ACEs. This includes specialist work with children and young people affected by childhood sexual abuse, domestic violence, neglect, or parental mental illness or substance misuse, as well as targeted support for parents to break cycles of intergenerational trauma.

Funding is flexible and can contribute to overall service delivery or a specific project.
