About Pearey House Centre For Visually Impaired
The Blind Society for North Tyneside is a registered charity providing assistance to blind and partially sighted people throughout the Metropolitan Borough of North Tyneside.
We can provide services and practical help to people living with or caring for someone living with a visual impairment.
We are working towards better services for visually impaired people, educating others about the problems of visual impairment, and helping VIPs to maintain their independence and empower them to make informed choices about their lives.
Membership is open to any person who is registered blind or partially sighted, or anyone who meets the criteria of registration, or a carer of someone with a visual impairment, and resident within the Metropolitan Borough of North Tyneside.
