We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated volunteer with a passion for football and supporting children and young people of all ability to enjoy and take part.
As a valued volunteer of FHYPC, we will strive to support you to achieve your goals and get the most from your role. We hope through volunteering you can:

Each team trains at least once per weekday evening and plays their matches either Saturday or Sunday.
Approx hours are 3/4hours per week
About Forest Hall Young Peoples Club
We are home to Forest Hall Juniors Football Club and Forest Hall Boxing Club, where children, young people and adults of all gender and ability are welcomed. There are various other fitness groups who use our facilities such as pilates, bootcamp and irish dancing. We also have a weekly craft club who enjoy knitting and crafting for various other charities and a weekly games club including carpet bowls in their rota of activities. We will soon be welcoming Age UK and their Friendly Faces group, Ladybird playgroup, Man V Fat football league, walking football and lots more.
What skills do I need?
Good communication skills and a patient approach to children and young people.
Some understanding of football.
Be willing to work as a team to provide a safe , fun and enjoyable environment in which children can learn and grow.
Experience in working with children and young people is desired but not essential.
Experience or qualification in coaching is desirable but not essential as we will support you through your coach education.
Have an understanding of and commitment to data protection and confidentiality.
Be committed to inclusion and treat all people from all backgrounds with dignity and respect.
Have a passion for helping people and a sense of community spirit.
