The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Activity Fund aims to use sport and physical activity as a means of bringing a community together and tackling inequalities, with projects helping inactive people get active or less active people become more active. Priority will be given to projects working with people living in areas of disadvantage.
The funders are keen to see projects built from local experience and feedback, that bring together various groups and communities, and also make the most of local facilities and equipment. It is also important that projects can continue to run, or have a lasting legacy, as a result of the funding.
Applicants don’t have to be a sports organisation but should show how they have the skills and experience to deliver.
Applicants must be in the top 30% most economically deprived areas on the Indices of Multiple Deprivation – please see postcode checked included with the application information.
