The Trustees consider a range of objectives with support going mainly to charities in the North of England that can provide benefits locally and further afield, covering areas such as medical research and care, youth development, people who have a disability, arts and assisting the disadvantaged – both at home and overseas.
The trustees review applications received from individuals and organisations and decide how much they are prepared to give. There are no set rules, it is all at the trustees’ discretion, as long as all are in agreement.
