The company awards grants (usually up to £15k) to support the following priorities:
- Supporting offenders and ex-offenders – in particular, young offenders under the age of 30.
- Helping disadvantaged young people – defined as being aged from five to 30 years old.
Applicants must show they’ve investigated other sources of funding and made plans for the future, including replacement funding if appropriate.
Organisations should normally be registered charities or in the process of applying for registration. Exceptionally, applications from CICs may be considered. The company’s preference is to support small organisations. Local organisations (such as those working in a village, estate or small town) should normally have an annual income of less than about £100k. For those working in larger cities and/or across the UK, annual income should not be more than about £250k.
Especially welcome are applications for pump-priming grants from small community-based organisations where the grant would form a major element of the funding.
Deadline: 19 November 2021.
