Thomas Wall Trust

The Thomas Wall Trust is offering grants of up to £5,000 to UK-registered charities to support projects that help disadvantaged adults develop communication skills and improve their employment prospects.

Funding is available to charities with an annual turnover of £25,000 to £500,000. Projects should support people of working age, typically 18+, who face barriers to employment. Beneficiaries must achieve at least one recognised and accredited vocational qualification during the project or within two months of its completion.

The Trust particularly welcomes applications supporting people experiencing multiple disadvantages, including women, disabled people, and refugees. Priority will be given to projects that are match-funded or have plans to become more financially sustainable. Please note that grants cannot be used for capital costs.

Applications for the November 2026 funding round are now open through a two-stage process.

Deadline for Stage 1 applications: 11 September 2026, 12 noon.
