Goal! New Funding for Women’s Football

Sported is working in partnership with The Football Association (England Football) to support community organisations delivering informal women’s football sessions (18+) through the national Just Play programme.

We’re offering:

  • £500 grant funding
  • Access to kit and equipment vouchers
  • Free online Just Play & FA First Aid training
  • Promotion and session management via Book Football

This opportunity is for charities, community groups and grassroots clubs in England delivering (or looking to start) informal, social “turn up and play” football for women aged 18+ and sustain this beyond August 2026.

Sessions must:

  • Deliver a minimum of 6 sessions by 31 July 2026
  • Be registered on Book Football
  • Be run by a session lead(s) who has/have completed the Just Play & FA First Aid training mentioned above

Applications close at 9am on Friday 12 June
