Northern Powergrid: Warm Spaces Fund

The Warm Spaces Fund offers flexible grants of £250 to £1,000 to organisations with an annual income of under £50,000 and that deliver their warm hub primarily from a location within the 30% most deprived in England.  Funding can be used to maintain, enhance or expand existing warm hub or warm space activities, helping organisations continue providing safe and welcoming places for people during the colder months.

Examples may include:

  • Equipment and furnishings
  • Kitchen or refreshment supplies
  • Activity materials
  • Volunteer expenses
  • Marketing and promotion
  • Minor improvements to enhance the warm space experience

Applications will be considered on a rolling basis, and there is no fixed closing date.

As this is a pilot programme, the Fund is limited to 60 applications. Applications will be accepted until either:

  • 60 applications have been received, or
  • All available funding has been allocated.

We strongly encourage organisations to apply early, as the Fund may close without notice once either limit has been reached.
