Rescue Centre Grants – Pets Foundation

The Pets Foundation offers grants to UK organisations whose main focus is the rescue and rehoming of pets. Funding helps charities continue their vital work caring for animals in need.

Grant amounts
Grants start from £250, with larger awards also available. Last year, the largest grant supported a kennel build, totalling £180,000.

What we fund
We support a wide range of costs, including:

  • Veterinary bills

  • Boarding fees

  • Trap and neuter schemes

  • Food and general animal care

  • Equipment and vehicles

  • Building works and utilities

Application process
The grants programme runs on a rolling basis, with decisions made throughout the year. Organisations can apply once every 12 months after receiving a previous grant.

Before applying, charities should:

  1. Check the eligibility criteria for both the organisation and the project.

  2. Gather all required supporting evidence, including recent financial details.

  3. Contact the Pets Foundation to request an application form.

The Foundation may also request a visit, either virtually or in person, to better understand your work and operations.
