  • Bowes Gardner Associates – A limited number of free informal advice sessions (up to 2 hours) on property valuation, condition of buildings, potential alterations to buildings, dampness etc.  Lengthier consultation at a cost

  • Capita – A limited number of free advice sessions on digital skills, finance, marketing, communications, sales and business planning.
  • Carney Consultancy Ltd – Free places on its Mental Health First Aid courses for voluntary organisations.
  • Carrie Brookes, Communications Consultant – A limited number of free half-day one-to-one consultancy sessions on website design; communications strategies; e-mail marketing; blogging and social media.
  • Chambers Podiatry – Provide free talks to community groups about foot care
  • Curry’s PC World – Potential discounts on IT and office equipment – A limited number of advice sessions around IT equipment and customer care – Teams of volunteers that can help with one-off events.
  • Diamond Group – A limited number of free consultations to enable VCS organisations to explore the best office and IT equipment to meet priorities.  Discounted IT equipment, telecoms and photocopiers are also available.
  • Elmgrove Management Consultants – A limited number of free advice sessions on business planning.
  • Engie – A limited number of free advice and guidance sessions on IT issues, finance, payroll & pensions advice, risk assessments, review of policies, health & safety etc.
  • Ethical Human Resources Limited – A limited number of free one-off HR-related advice sessions to small VCS organisations, and a discounted annual HR package.
  • First Face to Face – An opportunity to work with skilled students and graduates by providing 30-100 hours meaningful work placements within their work environments.  The programme is fully funded so there is no charge to the voluntary organisations.
  • Gordon Brown Law Firm – Discussions with voluntary organisations that are concerned about legal issues re property and employment.
  • Hempsons – A limited number of advice sessions on charity law.
  • Highlights Public Relations – Reduced cost PR work on behalf of charities and training in using radio to raise the profile of your organisation.
  • HSBC – Free Financial Wellbeing workshops for staff and beneficiaries.
  • Hygge – A limited number of free creative classes and workshops/craft for wellbeing.
  • Jackdaw Web Design – Free consultations to voluntary organisations considering getting their own website.
  • J N Todd & Associates – A limited number of free one-off informal financial audit/planning sessions (up to half day).
  • Newcastle Building Society – A limited number of one-off support sessions re customer services; IT; marketing; business change etc., as well as team volunteering and free community rooms.
  • Procter & Gamble – Staff support to provide a advice on business planning, sustainability and succession planning, marketing advice etc.
  • RNS Business Management – Free advice for organisations looking to switch energy/telephone/water/insurance provider.
  • Soundtec Systems – Free advice for organisations looking to improve security systems. Discounts for VCS organisations and some free work for small jobs.
  • Tait Walker – Free Workplace Pension and other Employee Benefit Scheme reviews and pension advice for voluntary organisations.
  • Tesco North Shields – Free community/training room for use by voluntary organisations and staff volunteers to help with community events.
  • Third Sector Protect– Third Sector Protect is able to offer a limited number of free one-to-one support sessions on a range of issues, including insurance digital skills, marketing and risk assessment.
  • Turn Coach – A limited number of life coaching and confidence coaching for staff and beneficiaries.
  • Tyne Met College Graphic and Design Department –  Free pieces of work each year, providing up to 8 weeks of students’ and tutor’s time to work on a graphic design project – design of brochures, graphics, logos and marks, branding, corporate identity etc.
  • Virgin Money – Staff volunteers to help with a range of community projects.
  • Waterstons – A limited number of free advice sessions on GDPR, PECR, making best use of cloud-based applications etc.
  • Your Print Department – Free advice and a wrap-round service for voluntary organisations to ensure that printed media best delivers the aims of the organisations.
