Sunrise Medical Community Fund

A new £5,000 fund is offering grants to individuals, families, community groups, charities, disability organisations and sports clubs across the UK for initiatives that increase independence, inclusion and opportunity for wheelchair users and disabled people. Funding can support sports equipment, community events, days out and experiences, personal challenges and local community projects that remove practical or financial barriers linked to mobility challenges. Applicants are encouraged to request no more than £100 per person or £500 per group, and nominations are also accepted.

Applications must be submitted by 30 September 2026.
