The ORBIT Project Weekly Sessions

Mindful Maker Space

Based in Whitley Bay Young People’s Centre, Mindful Maker Space aims to offer a variety of activities to suit your interests. Activities/projects within sessions will be decided by the group.

  • Create something meaningful
  • Be involved in projects that may be displayed by VODA
  • Learn new skills: arts, crafts and music
  • Express yourself and form connections

Session takes place on Monday afternoons:

  • Age 11-16: 4pm-5:30pm
  • Age 16-19: 6pm-7:30pm

Whitley Bay Young People’s Centre, Hillheads Rd, Whitley Bay, NE25 8HR.

Nebula Network

Taking place at the Oxford Centre in Longbenton, Nebula Network aims to involve participants in their local community.

As a group, we will decide on an issue which participants have identified. As a collective, we will then organise a social action project to address this issue.

  • Build skills and use your voice to make a positive impact
  • Work as a team to create something meaningful
  • Socialise with like-minded individuals

Session takes place on Wednesday afternoons:

  • Age 11-16: 4pm-5:30pm
  • Age 16-19: 6pm-7:30pm
