Nominations are now open for the VODA Awards 2026, recognising the outstanding contribution of North Tyneside’s Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector.
Every day, local organisations, volunteers and trustees work tirelessly to support residents, strengthen communities and improve lives. The VODA Awards are an opportunity to celebrate those achievements and recognise the individuals and organisations who go above and beyond.
Award Categories
- Organisation of the Year: Recognising a local VCSE organisation that has made a significant and lasting impact in its community.
- Volunteer of the Year: Celebrating an adult volunteer, or group of volunteers, who have shown exceptional commitment and dedication.
- Young Volunteer of the Year: Recognising a young person, or group of young people aged 19 and under, who are making a positive difference in their community.
- Trustee of the Year: Honouring a trustee who has demonstrated outstanding leadership, commitment and support to their organisation.
