UK-registered charities can apply for grants of £5,000 to £15,000 from the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists (WCIT) Charity for projects that use technology to improve digital inclusion, accessibility and participation.
Funding is available for projects supporting one or more of WCIT Charity’s priority areas of education, inclusion, tech for charities and public understanding of technology. There is particular interest in innovative projects involving AI, data and analytics, robotics, digital skills or accessibility technologies.
Projects should demonstrate clear and measurable outcomes, value for money and the potential for lasting impact or wider adoption. Pilot projects can also be considered.
Applicants must be UK-registered charities established for at least one year, with both an annual income and unrestricted reserves below £1 million.
Grants can cover reasonable project-related expenses, including some staff costs, and the WCIT grant must represent at least 25% of the overall project budget.
Applications close on 3 November 2026, or earlier if the cap of 50 applications is reached.
