About the Fund
Launched on 8 July, the Regional Creatives Fund aims to help individuals break into sectors such as publishing, music, gaming, film, TV, fashion, advertising, and more—where diversity and fresh perspectives drive innovation.
What’s on Offer
Grants up to £30,000 for individual charities
Consortium grants up to £100,000
Access to pro-bono upskilling programmes through Amazon’s network, including mentoring, work experience, placements, and digital training, with support from teams like Amazon Music, Prime Video, and Amazon Games
Who Can Apply
Charities currently running programmes that upskill people from underserved communities for creative careers. Applicants must show how the funding will expand or continue an existing impactful programme, such as music production training, portfolio development, or game studio placements.
Selection Criteria
Applications will be judged by an independent panel including leaders from Amazon, The National Theatre, Arts Council England, and other cultural organisations. Strong proposals will:
Show clear creative purpose, energy, and optimism
Demonstrate real impact through skills development, access, and industry connections
Present a realistic, well-planned approach to delivery
Amplify underrepresented voices
Build on existing programmes to grow what works
