Barclays Female Coaches for Girls Grant

Barclays is helping to grow girls’ sport by supporting more women to become qualified coaches. Through the Barclays Community Sport Fund, grants are available to clubs and groups across the UK who want to train female coaches in football, cricket or tennis. Whether you’re a parent, player, or volunteer, if you’re part of a group that runs girls’ activities, you could be eligible.

This grant is about more than just qualifications – it’s about giving girls strong role models and improving the quality of coaching at grassroots level. You can apply for funding to support up to two women at your club to gain a Level 1 coaching qualification, plus any safeguarding or first aid training needed.

Applications are open from 22 April to 31 October 2025.
