Cash4Clubs

The Cash4Clubs programme, funded by Flutter UK & Ireland and delivered by Sported, is offering small grants of £2,000 (€2,000 in Ireland) to support community sports clubs and organisations that engage adults in sport. Since 2008, Cash4Clubs has awarded over £6.5 million, helping thousands of people across the UK and Ireland access local sports and supporting the sustainability of grassroots clubs.

The 2025–26 programme prioritises organisations working in areas of high deprivation or engaging under-represented groups, including women, racially-diverse communities, people with disabilities and members of the LGBTQ+ community. Funding is unrestricted, allowing clubs to use the grant for projects, equipment, coaching, venue hire, volunteer support, marketing, training or other activities that help them grow and sustain adult participation.

Applications are open to not-for-profit organisations, including registered charities, companies without share capital and structured community sports clubs that use sport for social purposes. Clubs must only support adults aged 18+; organisations with junior members or activities are not eligible.

The application period runs from Monday 8 September to Monday 8 December 2025, and successful applicants will be notified by the end of January 2026. Funding should be spent within six months, and grantees will provide feedback on the impact of their projects.

Since 2023, the programme has supported 401 community and voluntary groups, distributed £800,000, funded over 50 different sports, and helped more than 11,500 new adults take part in sport.

For more information on eligibility and to apply, visit the Cash4Clubs Grant Application Page or contact grants@sported.org.uk for support.
