Children in Need Project Costs Funding Stream

The Children in Need Project Costs funding stream is for charities and non-profit organisations working with children and young people aged 18 or under.

They are looking for projects to support the aims and delivery of a specific piece of work, which is usually time-limited and based on a defined set of activities.

Applicants to this programme can apply for grants for up to three years and they aim to give quicker decisions for grants of £15,000 or less per year.

The Project Costs stream has no application deadlines, and you can apply at any time. They will not fund work that has already taken place, or any costs incurred, before the date they give you a decision. If your request is successful, you must start spending your grant within 12 months

Plan your application date so that you will receive a decision in plenty of time before the work begins. They receive a very high number of applications between October and January. If you submit a form during these months, it may take longer to get a decision.
