Community Foundation: The 1989 Willan Charitable Trust

The fund supports charities whose activities benefit residents, with priority being given to those working to ease social deprivation and/or enrich the fabric of the local community and the quality of life of individuals within that community.

Grants are available to support core and project costs, and applications where the grant will represent a significant contribution to delivery of the work will be given preference.

The fund tends to favour supporting local registered charities, including those operating as branches of national charities, with expenditure of less than £1m.
