DWF Foundation

The DWF Foundation is an independent charity established by DWF to support registered charities with funds, resources and mentoring that help communities thrive. It focuses on five priority areas: homelessness, health and wellbeing, employability, education, and the environment and sustainability.

Who can apply
UK‑registered charities working locally to address one or more of the Foundation’s priority issues may apply. There is no set minimum grant size, though most awards are up to £5,000 and are one‑off rather than multi‑year.

What they fund
Grants support initiatives that strengthen local communities, such as projects that tackle specific issues, improve voluntary group effectiveness, include those often excluded, or help young people develop skills.

How to apply
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis via the online application form. Charities should read the Foundation’s grant guidelines and submit all required information through the Foundation’s website. DWF Foundation | DWF
