The Arts Society

UK‑registered charities delivering arts and heritage projects can now apply for grants of up to £3,000 through The Arts Society’s Spring 2026 Funding Round. The fund aims to widen access to the arts, support local cultural development, and strengthen creative and heritage skills across communities. Who Can Apply? The scheme is open to UK‑registered charities with an annual turnover below £1 million. Proposed projects must offer clear public benefit, be well‑managed, and demonstrate a positive and sustainable impact. What Types of Projects Are Supported? The Arts Society funds a wide range of activity across arts, culture, and heritage, including: Creative workshops, education programmes, and community arts initiatives Bursaries for students or apprentices Heritage, conservation, and preservation activities Exhibitions, displays, and internships Part‑time roles supporting arts or heritage engagement Funding Priorities Priority will be given to projects that: Improve access to the arts for individuals who may otherwise face barriers Introduce

Goal! New Funding for Women’s Football

Sported is working in partnership with The Football Association (England Football) to support community organisations delivering informal women’s football sessions (18+) through the national Just Play programme. We’re offering: £500 grant funding Access to kit and equipment vouchers Free online Just Play & FA First Aid training Promotion and session management via Book Football This opportunity is for charities, community groups and grassroots clubs in England delivering (or looking to start) informal, social “turn up and play” football for women aged 18+ and sustain this beyond August 2026. Leathersellers’ ACEs Main Grants Programme

The Leathersellers’ Foundation has opened Expressions of Interest for its ACEs Main Grants Programme, now in its fifth year. The programme supports UK charities and CIOs working to prevent and reduce the harm caused by Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). Grants of £20,000–£25,000 per year for up to four years are available. Expressions of Interest must be submitted online by 5pm on Thursday 30 April 2026. Around 50 organisations will be invited to make full applications, with approximately 25 multi‑year grants awarded. Children’s Alliance Grants for Water‑Based Projects

The Children’s Alliance is offering grants of up to £15,000 (most around £5,000) to support non‑profit organisations delivering water‑based activities that improve children’s physical and mental wellbeing. The fund is open to schools, registered charities, CICs and community groups across the UK and aims to help disadvantaged children under 18 access swimming lessons, hydrotherapy, surf therapy, water play, and other aquatic activities. Projects must show measurable impact in confidence, competence and cognition – the “3Cs” of swimming development. Previously funded organisations include the Leigh Trust, Dame Vera Lynn Charity, The Wave Project, Access Sport and We Are Beams. The Veterans’ Foundation Major Grants Programme

The Veterans’ Foundation has launched a new Major Grants Programme for 2026, designed to fund collaborative, innovative projects that support the UK armed forces community. The fund is aimed at partnerships working to improve outcomes for serving personnel, veterans, operationally qualified seafarers and their immediate families. This programme marks the VF’s 10th anniversary and focuses on sector-wide learning and partnership-driven innovation. Grants of £200,000–£500,000 are available for partnership projects lasting 12–24 months, with each award supported by an independent learning partner. The Adamson Trust Disabled Children’s Charity

The Adamson Trust provides financial support to families, groups, schools and registered charities to help fund holidays or respite breaks for disabled children aged 3–17. Eligible children must be UK residents with physical, mental or emotional impairments, and applications must include supporting evidence from a medical or social services professional. Grants typically cover part of the holiday cost, with an average award of around £250. The Trust meets quarterly, and applications must be submitted before the cut‑off date for each meeting. Please note that applications for the May meeting closed early, so groups are strongly encouraged to apply as soon as possible once each round opens.
