Groundwork Grassroots Grants

Flexible funding for small community organisations

The Grassroots Grants programme offers unrestricted grants of £500–£2,000 to small, local organisations in England. Funding is open to voluntary and community groups, small charities, and eligible Community Interest Companies with an annual income of £25,000 or less.

This funding is designed to support organisations making a real difference in their neighbourhoods, especially those working with communities experiencing deprivation or supporting marginalised or vulnerable people.

  • Support people who are marginalised or vulnerable

Only one application per organisation is permitted.
