Grow Wild, the national outreach learning programme of Kew, has opened applications for its 2026 Youth Grants. Young people aged 16 to 25 from across the UK can apply for £500 grants to create a unique project celebrating the importance of UK native plants or fungi.
Projects should be creative, engaging and able to involve at least 100 people, either in person or online. Grants can be used for materials, equipment, training, expert support or anything needed to bring the idea to life. Projects may begin in May and must be completed by the end of October 2026.
Applicants must have the support of an organisation such as a school, college, youth club or community group.
The deadline for applications is 18 March 2026 at 15:00.
