Karbon Homes Community Funding

Karbon Homes Community Investment fund supports not-for-profit organisations, voluntary groups, and local schools delivering projects that make a real difference to people’s lives and wellbeing in the communities where Karbon Homes works.

Funding Themes

Projects must fall under one of the following key themes:

  • Cost of living – Supporting people with financial pressures
  • Bringing people together – Creating strong relationships in communities
  • Health and wellbeing – Improving physical and mental health
  • Improving places – Enhancing local environments

Grant Amount

Maximum award: £4,000 per year Maximum project length: 2 years

Assessment Process

  • Applications of £1,500 or less: Assessed by the community investment team
  • Applications over £1,500: Assessed by the residents’ grants panel following team appraisal

Who Can Apply

  • Not-for-profit organisations
  • Voluntary organisations
  • Local schools

Projects should primarily benefit Karbon Homes customers and the communities they work in. While it’s not always possible for projects to solely cover these areas, applicants should demonstrate how their project will or could benefit Karbon Homes communities.

What They Don’t Fund

This fund supports projects and initiatives, not large-scale capital investment in assets.
