£100,000 – £4m. Charitable organisations (constituted). No deadline.

Motability is a national charity that support the transport needs of disabled people. In 2022 it is launching new grant programmes, the first two of which are now open:

Community Transport Grants: to develop, expand and improve community transport options, with a focus on:

  • support for staff or volunteer training and costs
  • increasing the number of vehicles available
  • initiatives to increase awareness and influence strategy and policy
  • best practice initiatives that already exist but need support to remain operational or scale-up.

Wheelchair Grants: to improve and expand access to good quality affordable wheelchairs, with a focus on:

  • filling current gaps in provision
  • topping up self-funding
  • raising awareness
  • programmes to help fund high quality and affordable equipment
  • best practice initiatives that already exist but need support to remain operational or scale-up.

Applications can be made to the programme at any time until March 2025.
