Reach North East Health & Activity Funding

Are you involved in getting people motivated to improve their health and well-being through physical activity?

REACH North East is a local charity supporting people of all ages in the North East of England to MOVE MORE.

REACH believes in the positive impact for everyone of sport and physical activity towards physical and mental wellness, feeling great and staying healthy.

Local groups, organisations, and individuals can apply for grants of up to £5,000 for projects in Tyne & Wear, Northumberland, Durham, Middlesbrough, and Redcar & Cleveland.

The two REACH funding streams are:

  • GET MOVING
Here we are looking for projects offering something new to encourage people moving for the first time either through a brand new activity or getting inactive people moving.
  • KEEP MOVING
This would be where an existing opportunity needs additional funding to keep the project going, replicate the activity in a new location or with a new group of participants, or increase the numbers your activity can support.

The next funding application deadline is 28 February

Further information with details of criteria and the application process is available at REACH North East – Helping people stay healthy through sport
