Sport England Movement Fund

Sport England has transformed its funding application process to make it easier for sports clubs and other organisations that help people to take part in physical activity to apply for money.

The new Movement Fund simplifies funding applications and will help those with the greatest need secure investment to support people to live active, healthy, lives.

The fund, which is worth £160 million over the next four years, replaces the existing Small Grants Programme and Active Together fund and will offer crowdfunding pledges, grants and resources to provide physical activity opportunities that can help us tackle long-lasting inequalities.

Applications can be made at any time by sports clubs, charities, schools, local authorities and other not-for-profit organisations looking to deliver projects that promote physical activity, including active travel, walking, cycling, dance, fitness and sporting activities.
