The Arts Society

UK‑registered charities delivering arts and heritage projects can now apply for grants of up to £3,000 through The Arts Society’s Spring 2026 Funding Round. The fund aims to widen access to the arts, support local cultural development, and strengthen creative and heritage skills across communities.

Who Can Apply?

The scheme is open to UK‑registered charities with an annual turnover below £1 million. Proposed projects must offer clear public benefit, be well‑managed, and demonstrate a positive and sustainable impact.

What Types of Projects Are Supported?

The Arts Society funds a wide range of activity across arts, culture, and heritage, including:

  • Creative workshops, education programmes, and community arts initiatives
  • Bursaries for students or apprentices
  • Heritage, conservation, and preservation activities
  • Exhibitions, displays, and internships
  • Part‑time roles supporting arts or heritage engagement

Funding Priorities

Priority will be given to projects that:

  • Improve access to the arts for individuals who may otherwise face barriers
  • Introduce people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities to creative and cultural experiences
  • Support the teaching, development, and preservation of artistic, craft, and heritage skills
  • Strengthen local museums, galleries, archives, and performing arts organisations
  • Deliver meaningful benefits at a grassroots level with a clear, positive community impact

Why This Funding Matters

The Arts Society aims to ensure that arts and culture remain vibrant, accessible, and inclusive. By supporting projects that nurture creativity, preserve heritage skills, and bring communities together, the fund helps enrich cultural life across the UK.

Application Deadline

Applications must be submitted by 31 March 2025.

Charities delivering arts, culture, or heritage projects are encouraged to apply early to maximise their opportunity.
