The Fat Beehive Foundation provides small grants of up to £2,500 to help UK charities strengthen their digital presence. Funding supports a wide range of digital projects, including website development, online resources, and digital accessibility improvements.
The fund is aimed at charities with an annual turnover under £1 million, helping them reach more people, raise more funds and deliver greater impact through improved digital tools. Grants are awarded twice a year.
Priorities for Support
Because funds are limited, the Foundation prioritises support for traditionally hard‑to‑fund organisations, including charities working with:
- Prisoners
- Refugees
- Disadvantaged young people
What They Don’t Fund
Grants are focused on specific digital projects, not general IT costs. They do not fund:
- General software or hardware (e.g., laptops, servers, licences not linked to a project)
- Organisations without capacity to deliver the proposed project
- Core costs or staff salaries
- Charities currently working with, or planning to work with, Fat Beehive Ltd
- Organisations set up to promote religion
