The Happiness Fund

Laughology is celebrating its 20th anniversary by awarding £20,000 to community projects across the UK through its 2026 Happiness Fund. The fund supports small, neighbourhood‑based, not‑for‑profit organisations that aim to build happier, stronger and more resilient communities.

Grants are available for new groups or activities that support mental health and wellbeing, promote inclusion or help people develop new skills. Applicants must show how their project will become financially sustainable over time, either by continuing independently or by securing further funding.

The programme will run across two funding cycles, with two grants of £5,000 awarded in each cycle.

Cycle 1 dates:
• Applications open: 2 March 2026
• Applications close: 27 March 2026
• Shortlist notified: 13–17 April 2026
• Interviews: 23 April 2026
• Winners announced: 15 May 2026

Due to high demand, feedback cannot be provided to unsuccessful applicants.
