The Veterans’ Foundation

Armed Forces charities and other not-for-profit organisations can apply for grants of up to £75,000 to support serving armed forces personnel, veterans, seafarers and their immediate families. The Veteran’s Foundation will award funding for projects lasting up to three years to organisations with low to medium income. The Veterans Foundation prioritises charities and organisations that can demonstrate they are directly involved in supporting those in need, as well as well-run organisations.

Here are the key funding programmes available:

  1. Small Grants: £500 – £5,000, with applications accepted quarterly
    Upcoming submission periods

    • 01/07/24-30/09/24
    • 01/10/24-31/12/24
  2. Standard Grants: £5,001 – £30,000, with specific submission deadlines.
  3. Salary Grants: Up to £25,000 per year for up to three years, also with specific deadlines.
    Upcoming deadlines for Standard & Salary Grants

    • 8th October 2024 – for a decision in December 2024
    • 20th January 2025 – for a decision in March 2025
    • 31st March 2025 – for a decision in June 2025
    • 21st July 2025 – for a decision in September 2025
