Barchester Charitable Foundation – Tackling Loneliness Grants

The Barchester Charitable Foundation has launched grants to support projects that tackle loneliness among older people and adults with disabilities. The foundation offers grants of up to £2,500 to charitable organisations and community groups working to connect or reconnect people with others in their local community.

Funding can support activity projects, equipment and materials, member transport, and day trips, outings and group holidays.

The foundation prioritises innovative projects that help older people and those with disabilities to get active, meet new people and reduce isolation. Applications that combat loneliness and enable people to be active and engaged receive the highest priority.

The foundation focuses on small, local organisations and does not typically fund groups with reserves exceeding £100,000.

No deadline given.
