Bookings are now open for the VODA Funding Fair 2026, a face-to-face funding event for voluntary and community organisations in North Tyneside.

The fair connects local organisations directly with funders through short, structured appointments. It is designed to help groups explore funding opportunities, discuss project ideas and check how well they meet funder criteria.

Date: Tuesday 24 March 2026
Time: 10am–12.30pm
Venue: Linskill Centre, Linskill Terrace, North Shields, NE30 2AY

What happens at the Funding Fair?

Organisations can:

  • Book 15-minute one-to-one appointments

  • Meet up to three funders

  • Explain their project and funding needs

  • Receive direct feedback on eligibility and fit

This is a practical opportunity to have focused funding conversations in person.

Who is the event for?

Priority is given to voluntary and community organisations based in or operating in North Tyneside.

Places are limited to two representatives per organisation.

Social enterprises and CICs should check each individual funder’s criteria carefully, as some funders may not accept applications from these organisation types.

Important booking information

  • This is a face-to-face event

  • Attendance is strictly by appointment only

  • It is not a drop-in session

  • Appointments are allocated first come, first served

Before booking, organisations must read each funder’s summary and eligibility criteria carefully. There are a limited number of appointments with each funder, so early booking is recommended.

Appointment times will be confirmed by email by 6 March. Please ensure contact details are correct when booking.

If you can no longer attend after booking, notify VODA as soon as possible at debby.flannery@voda.org.uk so your slot can be reallocated.

How to book

The closing date for applications is Friday 20 February 2026.
