Eating well with Diabetes toolkit

Enjoying what you eat is one of life’s pleasures, but sometimes if you have diabetes it can be tricky. An important part of managing your condition is to eat a healthy, balanced diet. There’s no such thing as a ‘diabetic’ diet or ‘diabetic’ recipes.

There are different types of diabetes and no two people with diabetes are the same. So there isn’t a one-size-fits-all way of eating for everyone with diabetes. So the North Tyneside Strategic Partnership has worked with Diabetes UK to put together this toolkit on eating well with Diabetes. Please share this with your networks to increase awareness.
