Ending Homelessness in Communities Fund

The Ending Homelessness in Communities Fund is a new three-year programme running from 2026 to 2029. It is designed to support voluntary, community and faith sector organisations in England to prevent and reduce rough sleeping.

The fund will provide revenue grants of between £50,000 and £200,000 per annum for any or all of the three years. Capital grants of between £50,000 and £200,000 are available for either Year 1 or Year 2. These limits are separate, allowing applicants seeking both types of support in the same year to request up to £200,000 for revenue and £200,000 for capital.

The funding aims to increase community based support, enhance or transform day services and assist individuals to live independently. It targets organisations with strong local knowledge to deliver services aligned with local homelessness strategies.

Eligible applicants include charities, Community Interest Companies, Community Benefit Societies and Parochial Church Councils with an annual income under £5 million. Organisations must have at least three years’ experience delivering direct support to people at risk of or experiencing homelessness and provide a local authority endorsement letter. Only one application may be submitted, though partnership bids are permitted.

Applications open on 23 February 2026 and must be submitted by the deadline of 31 March 2026 (12:00).
