Heritage Revival Fund Project Development Grants

The Heritage Revival Fund helps community organisations across England rescue and repurpose neglected historic buildings, with a focus on regenerating town centre locations. By supporting charities, not-for-profit organisations, and social enterprises, the fund aims to transform local heritage assets into thriving spaces that meet community needs.

Available Grants

  • Project Development Grants – up to £100,000 to support the development and coordination of historic building projects (RIBA Plan of Work stages 2–4). A minimum of 10% match funding is required.

Upcoming Deadlines

  • Project Development Grant: 13 October 2025, with decisions announced in December 2025

  • Project Development Grant: 19 January 2026, with decisions announced in March 2026

How to Apply
Eligible organisations should:

  1. Check eligibility and read the relevant Programme Guidance

  2. Complete the online Expression of Interest form. Project Viability and Development Grants can be submitted at any time.

  3. If invited, submit a full application with guidance provided by the fund’s Application Help Notes.
