The Hodge Foundation provides one‑off grants to UK‑registered or exempt charities that support people who may be experiencing disadvantage or barriers to wellbeing. This includes organisations working with older people, people experiencing homelessness, disabled people, people who need additional support with learning or development, and people living with mental health challenges. The Foundation also supports charities focused on education and learning, medical treatment and research, and community‑based religious projects such as improving church facilities and offering inclusive activities.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, allowing organisations to apply at a time that suits their planning. Grants start from £2,500.
Only UK charities registered with the Charity Commission, or exempt charities, are eligible to apply. The Foundation is not able to fund Community Interest Companies, individuals or organisations that have not yet completed the charity registration process.
