When Pulse Controls offered free gas safety checks and boiler servicing to North East-based charities through Sector Connector, we knew it could be helpful — but it’s always great to hear the real impact.
Jayne from Westmoor Community Centre got in touch after reading about the offer in the VODA ebulletin. Like many busy charity managers, she doesn’t always have time to read every item. But one word caught her eye: FREE.
Knowing that the centre’s boilers were due for a service and gas checks were needed, Jayne decided to take up the offer. With the reassurance of VODA and Sector Connector backing the opportunity, she gave Pulse Controls a call. The result? All appliances were declared safe, the boilers are in great working order, and the centre saved over £350.
Jayne added, “How pleased I was that I did! All my appliances have been checked off as safe, the boilers are all good to go for another year, and I saved myself over £350.”
