Making a Difference Locally

MADL is the charity of Co-op Wholesale and Nisa.

The charity helps independent retailers raise money that can then be donated to local charities and good causes. This is done through the sale of selected products in store, including all Co-op own brand items and those from own-label Heritage range.

Every time an item included in the scheme is purchased, a proportion of the price is added to the store’s MADL fund and this is then donated to good causes in that store’s local area.

Round 12 will prioritise helping people through the colder months by providing services like warm spaces, and food support, and community events.

Retailers supplied by Co-op Wholesale, including Nisa partners, can nominate local causes to receive up to £2,000.

How to apply

Visit the Our Community | Nisa Locally website and use the Store Locator below to contact your local independent store and see how they can help.
