New social action volunteering opportunity for young people

Exciting opportunity for young people aged 14-25 to get involved in social action volunteering!
North Tyneside VODA and Phoenix Detached youth project have joined forces to develop a new volunteering opportunity for local young people.
Starting with a series of film, photography and digital workshops delivered by Amber Films you’ll get the opportunity to learn new skills on storytelling and creative media.
Work with other local young people to identify and develop your own social action projects that benefit the local community.
Support will be provided by staff from both VODA and Phoenix Detached Youth projects to help bring projects to life.
No minimum commitment needed, this is a flexible  and exciting volunteering opportunity all you need is the passion to make a difference.
The first session is a free Photography Workshop on Tuesday 1 February at 5.30pm.
