The Adamson Trust Disabled Children’s Charity

The Adamson Trust provides financial support to families, groups, schools and registered charities to help fund holidays or respite breaks for disabled children aged 3–17. Eligible children must be UK residents with physical, mental or emotional impairments, and applications must include supporting evidence from a medical or social services professional. Grants typically cover part of the holiday cost, with an average award of around £250.

The Trust meets quarterly, and applications must be submitted before the cut‑off date for each meeting. Please note that applications for the May meeting closed early, so groups are strongly encouraged to apply as soon as possible once each round opens.

For 2026, the next application windows are:

August meeting

  • Applications open: 1 April 2026
  • Deadline: 30 June 2026

November meeting

  • Applications anticipated to open: 1 July 2026
  • Deadline: 30 September 2026

Applicants may receive up to three awards in total and must wait 12 months after any successful application before applying again. Requests cannot be considered for holidays taken before the meeting date.
