The John D Fund

The John D Fund at the Community Foundation supports out of school creative and artistic activities that enhance mental wellbeing and emotional development in children and young people, ages 8 – 25 who reside in Tyne & Wear and Northumberland.

The project must be informal and not linked to any type of accreditation, exam or test.

Activities should be fun, creative and run in a positive supportive environment.

Examples of activities include, but not limited to circus skills; dance and drama; music; model making; graffiti art; textiles; painting; environmental art and new ideas are always welcome!

Please note your application may be considered by other Community Foundation Funds.

Max grant size: £2500

Deadline: 9 June 2025
